In The Divide (2012), survivors of a nuclear attack hide in a basement, but as days pass, fear, hunger, and power struggles destroy their humanity. Soldiers abduct children, food runs out, and brutality takes over. In the end, the basement becomes worse than the world outside, revealing that the darkest enemy is human nature itself.
